
Poland travel & tourism industry registered a 9.0% rise in IT hiring activity in June 2021 compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics index.
The industry’s overall hiring decreased by 0.76% in June 2021 compared with May 2021.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 21.07% share in June 2021, recording an increase of 2.74% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Poland travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in June 2021
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 98.33% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland travel & tourism industry in June 2021.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 46.67% in June 2021, a 15.15% drop over the previous month.
2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 25% share, an increase of 25% over the previous month.
3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 15%, registering a 350% rise from May 2021.
4) Computer and Information Research Scientists captured a share of 6.67%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in Poland IT recruitment activity in June 2021
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 31.82% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Poland travel & tourism industry during June 2021 over May 2021.
DSV Panalpina posted 31 IT jobs in June 2021 and registered a rise of 14.81% over the previous month, followed by Deutsche Lufthansa with 12 jobs and a 200% growth. International Game Technology with 9 IT jobs and William Hill with 4 jobs, recorded a 350% growth and a 300% increase, respectively, while Ryanair recorded an 80% decline with 2 job postings during June 2021.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2021
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.67%, up by 3.03% from May 2021. Entry Level positions with a 35% share, a growth of 133.33% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with 8.33% share, down 28.57% over May 2021.
