Out of the total IT job titles posted by A.P. Moller – Maersk, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 48.19% in October 2022, and a 2.44% drop over September 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 22.29% in October 2022, and registered a decline of 2.63%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 19.28% in October 2022, a 15.79% drop from September 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at A.P. Moller – Maersk
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 44.58% share, which marked a 25.25% drop over the previous month.
Europe stood next with 42.77%, registering a 9.23% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 7.23% share and a 57.14% drop over September 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 3.01% and a month-on-month decline of 70.59%. South & Central America stood at the bottom of the table with a share of 2.41%, registering a 33.33% rise over the previous month.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 33.13% share in October 2022, a 32.1% decline over September 2022. The UK featured next with a 21.69% share, up 80% over the previous month. Denmark recorded a 13.86% share, a decline of 39.47% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs held a share of 64.46%, down by 35.54% from September 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25.9% share, a growth of 4.88% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 7.23% share, up 140% over September 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 2.41%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
