US-based company Bally’s IT hiring declined 26.6% in October 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 13.06% in October 2022 when compared with September 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 32.11% share in the company’s total hiring activity in October 2022, and recorded a 4.63% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Bally’s IT hiring in October 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by Bally’s, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 69.01% in October 2022, and a 46.15% drop over September 2022, while Computer and Information Analysts claimed a share of 12.68% in October 2022, and registered flat growth. Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 9.86% in October 2022, a 22.22% drop from September 2022.

Europe drives IT hiring at Bally’s

Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in October 2022 with a 67.61% share, which marked a 37.66% drop over the previous month.

North America stood next with 29.58%, registering a 56.25% month-on-month decline. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 2.82% share and a 100% rise over September 2022.

The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 36.62% share in October 2022, a 58.73% decline over September 2022. Malta featured next with a 25.35% share, up 100% over the previous month. Canada recorded a 23.94% share, a decline of 61.36% compared with September 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead Bally’s IT hiring activity in October 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 80.28%, down by 46.23% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.08% share, a decline of 16.67% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 5.63% share, down 50% over September 2022.
