Germany-based company Deutsche Bahn’s IT hiring rose 0.5% in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 3.35% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 3.53% share in the company’s total hiring activity in August 2022, and recorded a 0.19% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Deutsche Bahn IT hiring in August 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Deutsche Bahn, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 47.73% in August 2022, and a 7.69% rise over July 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 25% in August 2022, and registered growth of 57.14%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 15.91% in August 2022, a 16.67% rise from July 2022.
Europe drives IT hiring at Deutsche Bahn
Europe emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in August 2022 with an 81.82% share, which marked a 7.69% drop over the previous month.
North America stood next with 9.09%, registering a 700% month-on-month growth. Asia-Pacific was the third leading region with a 7.95% share and a 133.33% rise over July 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 1.14% and a month-on-month flat growth.
Germany commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 64.77% share in August 2022, a 13.64% decline over July 2022. US featured next with a 9.09% share, up 700% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 7.95% share, an increase of 16.67% compared with July 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Deutsche Bahn IT hiring activity in August 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 67.05%, down by 1.67% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.05% share, a growth of 25% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 14.77% share, up 30% over July 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 1.14%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
