The industry’s overall hiring increased by 1.2% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 3.38% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 0.37% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in France’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s travel & tourism industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 46.34% in November 2022, registering an 111.11% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 31.71% share, a flat growth over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 12.2%, registering a 400% rise from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 7.32%, flat growth over the previous month.
Top five travel & tourism companies in France’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 1950% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of France’s travel & tourism industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Europcar Mobility Group posted 27 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a rise of 1250% over the previous month, followed by Air France-KLM with 9 jobs and a flat growth. Walt Disney with 2 IT jobs and Accor with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Booking Holdings recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 73.17%, up by 233.33% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 17.07% share, registered an increase of 600% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 9.76% share, up 300% over October 2022.
