Netherlands’s travel & tourism industry IT recruitment activity rises 8.0% in August 2022

Netherlands travel & tourism industry registered an 8.0% rise in IT hiring activity in August 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The industry’s overall hiring increased by 9.42% in August 2022 when compared with July 2022.

Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed an 8.67% share in August 2022, recording a decrease of 1.44% over the last three-month average share.

Top five job classifications in Netherlands travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in August 2022

Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands travel & tourism industry in August 2022.

1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 63.64% in August 2022, registering an 118.75% growth over the previous month.

2) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations claimed a 16.36% share, an increase of 28.57% over the previous month.

3) Database and Network Administrators and Architects held a share of 10.91%, registering a 200% rise from July 2022.

4) Computer and Information Analysts captured a share of 7.27%, up 300% over the previous month.

Top five travel & tourism companies in Netherlands IT recruitment activity in August 2022

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Netherlands travel & tourism industry during August 2022 over July 2022.

NS Groep posted 52 IT jobs in August 2022 and registered a rise of 108% over the previous month, followed by Gateway Casinos & Entertainment with 1 job and a flat growth. PPHE Hotel Group with 1 IT job and Air France-KLM with 1 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth.

Junior Level job postings dominate in August 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 83.64%, up by 84% from July 2022. Mid Level positions with a 14.55% share, registered an increase of 300% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 1.82% share, flat growth over July 2022.
