The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 3.31% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 6.34% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.54% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Philippines travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Philippines travel & tourism industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 45.71% in November 2022, registering a 60% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 22.86% share, an increase of 60% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 11.43%, registering a flat growth from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 11.43%, up 300% over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average growth of 118.18% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Philippines travel & tourism industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
Columbia Hospitality posted 7 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a flat growth over the previous month, followed by Meyer Jabara Hotels with 7 jobs and a flat growth. A.P. Moller – Maersk with 4 IT jobs and Royal Caribbean Cruises with 3 jobs, recorded a 33.33% decline and a 25% decrease, respectively, while Deutsche Bahn recorded an increase of 200% with 3 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 77.14%, up by 107.69% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 14.29% share, registered an increase of 150% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with an 8.57% share, down 40% over October 2022.
