The industry’s overall hiring is decreased by 11.65% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
Out of the travel & tourism industry’s total hiring activity, IT jobs claimed a 13.34% share in November 2022, recording an increase of 1.61% over the last three-month average share.
Top five job classifications in Spain’s travel & tourism industry’s IT recruitment activity in November 2022
Out of the total job titles, the top five roles commanded a 100% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s travel & tourism industry in November 2022.
1) Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers recorded a share of 57.89% in November 2022, registering a 37.5% growth over the previous month.
2) Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a 21.05% share, a decrease of 63.64% over the previous month.
3) Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 10.53%, registering a 60% decline from October 2022.
4) Computer Support Specialists captured a share of 10.53%, flat growth over the previous month.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average flat growth share in the overall IT recruitment activity of Spain’s travel & tourism industry during November 2022 over October 2022.
A.P. Moller – Maersk posted 3 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a drop of 72.73% over the previous month, followed by TripAdvisor with 2 jobs and a flat growth. Bally’s with 2 IT jobs and TUI with 2 jobs, recorded a flat growth and a flat growth, respectively, while Minor International recorded a flat growth with 2 job postings during November 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 68.42%, down by 43.48% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 15.79% share, registered a flat growth compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 15.79% share, flat growth over October 2022.
