US-based company The Walt Disney’s IT hiring declined 21.2% in November 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 22.72% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 16.54% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 0.56% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in November 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 74.84% in November 2022, and a 32% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 11.95% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 34.48%. Computer and Information Research Scientists held a share of 3.77% in November 2022, a 45.45% drop from October 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney

North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in November 2022 with an 86.16% share, which marked a 21.71% drop over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 9.43%, registering a 76.92% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 3.77% share and a 25% drop over October 2022.

In the fourth place was South & Central America with a share of 0.63% and a month-on-month flat growth.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with an 86.16% share in November 2022, a 21.71% decline over October 2022. India featured next with an 8.18% share, down 64.86% over the previous month. The UK recorded a 2.52% share, a decline of 42.86% compared with October 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in November 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.01%, down by 29.71% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 32.08% share, a decline of 46.88% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 6.92% share, down 21.43% over October 2022.
