The Walt Disney’s IT hiring activity rises 21.1% in January 2022

US-based company The Walt Disney’s IT hiring rose 21.1% in January 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 14.37% in January 2022 when compared with December 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 14.8% share in the company’s total hiring activity in January 2022, and recorded a 1.44% growth over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in January 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 72.37% in January 2022, and a 40.12% rise over December 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 9.01% in January 2022, and registered growth of 50%. Computer and Information Analysts held a share of 6.31% in January 2022, an 110% rise from December 2022.

North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney

North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in January 2022 with a 62.16% share, which marked an 8.38% rise over the previous month.

Asia-Pacific stood next with 30.33%, registering an 188.57% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 7.51% share and a 257.14% rise over December 2022.

The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 60.96% share in January 2022, a 6.84% growth over December 2022. India featured next with a 15.92% share, up 1225% over the previous month. China recorded a 13.21% share, an increase of 62.96% compared with December 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in January 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.07%, up by 103.7% from December 2022. Mid Level positions with a 21.62% share, a decline of 20% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.01% share, up 14.29% over December 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.3%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
