US-based company The Walt Disney ’s IT hiring rose 8.6% in February 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.
The company’s overall hiring activity increased by 0.46% in February 2022 when compared with January 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 14.34% share in the company’s total hiring activity in February 2022, and recorded a 1.45% growth over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops The Walt Disney IT hiring in February 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by The Walt Disney , Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 79.62% in February 2022, and a 38.21% rise over January 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 7.34% in February 2022, and registered a decline of 25%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 5.43% in February 2022, a 4.76% drop from January 2022.
North America drives IT hiring at The Walt Disney
North America emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in February 2022 with a 50.82% share, which marked a 14.61% drop over the previous month.
Asia-Pacific stood next with 45.92%, registering an 113.92% month-on-month growth. Europe was the third leading region with a 3.26% share and a 53.85% drop over January 2022.
The US commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 49.18% share in February 2022, a 15.81% decline over January 2022. India featured next with a 27.45% share, up 197.06% over the previous month. China recorded a 16.58% share, an increase of 48.78% compared with January 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead The Walt Disney IT hiring activity in February 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.96%, up by 14% from January 2022. Mid Level positions with a 25% share, a growth of 21.05% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with 12.77% share, flat growth over January 2022, while Senior postings accounted for 0.27%, recording a month-on-month flat growth.
