The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 10.67% in November 2022 when compared with October 2022.
IT jobs claimed a 19.3% share in the company’s total hiring activity in November 2022, and recorded a 1.52% decline over the last three-month average share.
Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops Uber Technologies IT hiring in November 2022
Out of the total IT job titles posted by Uber Technologies, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 82.46% in November 2022, and a 26.56% drop over October 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 8.77% in November 2022, and registered a decline of 16.67%. Computer Support Specialists held a share of 5.26% in November 2022, a 50% rise from October 2022.
Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at Uber Technologies
Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global travel & tourism IT hiring activity in November 2022 with a 47.37% share, which marked a 17.39% rise over the previous month.
North America stood next with 24.56%, registering a 46.15% month-on-month decline. Europe was the third leading region with a 15.79% share and a 10% drop over October 2022.
In the fourth place was Middle East & Africa with a share of 12.28% and a month-on-month decline of 58.82%.
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s travel & tourism industry IT hiring activity with a 40.35% share in November 2022, a 64.29% growth over October 2022. US featured next with a 24.56% share, down 41.67% over the previous month. Pakistan recorded a 5.26% share, a decline of 66.67% compared with October 2022.
Junior Level jobs lead Uber Technologies IT hiring activity in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 56.14%, down by 43.86% from October 2022. Mid Level positions with a 33.33% share, a growth of 90% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 10.53% share, flat growth over October 2022.
