Hospitality chain Accor has partnered with Beijing Tianheng Group to open a new Swissôtel property in Chengdu, China.
Scheduled to open next year, the Swissôtel Chengdu Beihu Lake will be surrounded by the Beihu Ecological Park, the “largest artificial lake” in Chengdu.

Accor Greater China CEO Gary Rosen said: “Swissôtel Chengdu Beihu Lake will provide a meaningful economic boost to the beautiful and fast-growing community of Beihu, attracting visitors and loyal guests who appreciate the unique Swissôtel experience, crafted with care, and a commitment to quality.
“This new hotel will seamlessly blend the refined craftsmanship and contemporary Swiss elegance with a deep respect for sustainability and cultural preservation.”
According to the hospitality brand, the 150-guest room hotel will feature the exclusive Swissôtel bed collection and Pürovel spa products. The property will also have a restaurant, bar and private meeting rooms.
Beijing Tianheng Group chairman and party committee secretary Liu Shudong said: “We are ambitiously attracting residents, businesses and tourism, and stimulating local economic development in Beihu Ecological Park, as we work to create a vibrant nexus of healthy urban living, arts and culture, and entertainment.

The signing of the new property follows the launch of Swissôtel Guangzhou in Greater China.
In October 2024, Accor partnered with The Summary Executive Properties to launch Swissôtel Waterfront Residences at Dubai Islands.
Set to open in 2027, Swissôtel Waterfront Residences at Dubai Islands is claimed to be the first standalone Swissôtel branded residences.
