Both the properties were opened in partnership with Softlogic Holdings, according to local publication Daily Mirror.

The Colombo property is located within the city’s commercial and lifestyle district. It offers 219 rooms and suites for guests.

The hotel has restaurants, cafés, and two bars, as well a rooftop infinity pool, a spa, a fitness centre, and spaces for meetings and events.

The second property is situated in Bentota, on Sri Lanka’s south-west coast.

It features 165 rooms, including family rooms and suites, many of which offer views of the ocean, river or pool.

The resort also includes restaurants, wellness facilities, and venues for meetings and weddings.

Accor South Asia CEO Ranju Alex was quoted by The Economic Times as saying: “This is an exciting moment for Accor as we introduce Pullman to Sri Lanka for the first time.

“Pullman has always been a brand built around bringing people, cultures and ideas together, making it a natural fit for a destination that continues to attract travellers seeking authentic experiences alongside world-class hospitality.

“Sri Lanka is an important and growing market within South Asia, with tremendous potential across business, leisure and experiential tourism.

“With Pullman Colombo City Centre and Pullman Bentota Resort & Spa, we are bringing two distinctive hospitality experiences that reflect the energy of Colombo and the natural beauty of Bentota.

“We look forward to contributing to the continued growth of Sri Lanka’s tourism and hospitality landscape.”
