Accor is set to expand in Europe, with the transition of Berlin Das Stue to Sofitel Berlin Das Stue in Germany.
The 78-room hotel is in Berlin’s embassy district, beside Tiergarten and the Berlin Zoological Garden.

The building’s conversion into a hotel was originally conceived by Axthelm Rolvien Architekten and designer Patricia Urquiola.
The transition is scheduled to occur in Q1 2027.
Before joining the Sofitel network, the property is set to undergo a series of changes.
These include room upgrades, new bedding and soft furnishings, revised public areas, new signage, corridor works and a redesigned lobby with added artistic and decorative features.
After the transition, Sofitel Berlin Das Stue will include 78 rooms and suites, among them the Bel Etage Suite and Penthouse Suite.
Facilities are set to include an indoor heated swimming pool, spa, gym, private meeting areas and dining spaces.
Accor said the hotel’s addition supports Sofitel’s expansion across 15 key destinations in Europe, with Sofitel Dublin also due in 2027.
The group has nearly 300 hotels and more than 43,000 rooms in the country across all segments, with 30 more projects under development.
