Hospitality group Accor is all set to open Rixos Jewel of the Creek in Dubai, expanding its footprint in the UAE to 65 properties.
Upon completion, the Rixos Jewel of the Creek project is set to offer 770 hotel rooms and suites.
It is a fully integrated urban resort and will be located in the one million square metre mixed-use development, Jewel of the Creek, in the Port Saeed area of Deira.
Accor currently has 29 more projects with 7,900 rooms that are pipelined across its diversified portfolio of brands.
Earlier this year, the group signed a strategic partnership with Dubai Developments for managing the Mövenpick Grand Al Bustan and Swissôtel and Swissôtel Living Al Murooj.
Rixos Jewel of the Creek in Dubai will illustrate the third property signed in less than a year.
Accor Middle East & Africa CEO Mark Willis said: “The recent development witnessed in the nearby Bur Dubai and Deira districts, with major facelifts and redevelopments initiatives, are expected to further elevate the surroundings and will be incredibly beneficial to existing hotels in the respective areas.
“We are the largest hotel operator in Dubai and our partnership with Dubai Developments highlights our common goal to strategically develop tourism and meet the demand of today’s travellers in Dubai.”
The project is strategically located and is accessible to some of Dubai’s attractions including Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall, and more, thereby providing an ideal destination for leisure guests.
Apart from the guests room, Rixos will showcase various food and beverage outlets, a 3,000m² conference centre, a commercial zone, indoor and outdoor sports facilities and fitness centre.
Other amenities include a wellness centre, an infinity pool, an entertainment and show arena, a beach promenade, facilities for kids and teens.
At present, Accor is operating Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, Rixos Dubai the Palm Hotel & Suites, Rixos Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi and Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaima in the UAE.
