Property technology developer Allbridge and cloud communications and artificial intelligence (AI) provider BluIP have partnered to modernise hotel operations across the US.

The companies are delivering mission-critical hosted PBX (private branch exchange), PMS (property management system) integration, SIP (session initiation protocol) trunking and conversational AI solutions across the hospitality industry.

According to 2023 research by the American Hotel and Lodging Association, 79% of respondents report a staffing shortage, with 22% describing the shortage as severe.

At the same time, guest expectations for hyper-personalisation and digitised experiences are growing, placing property technology (proptech) on the priority list for hotels.

Proptech can provide hoteliers with a structured approach to planning, integrating and managing all technology throughout their facility, with the network as the backbone. This supports hotel staff with their daily duties and enhances guest experiences.
