Avani Hotels and Resorts has announced that it will open 11 new properties which include an additional property in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and a new property in Oman.
The company plans to open new locations by the end of 2024. It is also entering the markets in the Maldives, Kenya, and Myanmar.
Zawya quoted Avani Hotels and Resorts parent company Minor Hotels CEO Dillip Rajakarier as saying: “We are pleased that our partners are reaffirming their commitment to long-term growth with Avani, as demonstrated in their decision to continue with the delivery of at least seven new properties by the end of 2021.
“With yet more projects expected to be completed in the following two years and additional pipeline announcements coming soon, Avani continues to be the fastest-growing brand in the company.”
Planned to open in the fourth quarter of this year, Avani Palm View Dubai Residences and Suites, UAE is currently in the final development stage. The 264-key Avani Palm View overlooks the Palm Jumeirah.
The Avani Muscat Hotel in Oman is slated to open in the first quarter of next year and marks the brand’s entry in Oman and the second region in the Middle East.
The hotel will feature 161 keys and will be located in Seeb.
Its new property in Kenya, Avani Nairobi Residences is expected to open in next year and will be an all-suite 120-key property.
Slated to open late next year, the Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort will be situated on the Fares Island in the Maldives with 200 guest rooms and villas.
The Avani Yangon Hotel in Myanmar will be opened in 2024. The hotel will feature 250 guest rooms and will be the first property in Myanmar.
The hotel group has two properties planned in Thailand, Avani+ Koh Lanta Resort which will open in later this year and Avani+ Khao Lak Resort to open late next year.
It has also planned to open three new properties in Vietnam, Avani Doc Let Resort, Avani Saigon Hotel and Avani Cam Ranh Resort.
Finally, Avani Kota Kinabalu Hotel is expected to open in 2022 in Malaysia.
