DiamondRock Hospitality Company has announced its plan to open the new Barbary Beach House Key West hotel in June this year.
The 184-room oceanfront hotel, situated at 2001 South Roosevelt Boulevard, is claimed to be influenced by the island’s natural landscape and legendary maritime history.
DiamondRock Hospitality CEO Tom Healy said: “Without a doubt, Barbary Beach House Key West will be a prized addition to our growing portfolio of experiential hotels and resorts.
“Key West is one of the most desirable resort destinations in the US, and the guest amenities and design elements of our newest hotel really capture the island’s seafaring swagger, inviting guests to ‘drift wrecklessly’ in the Florida Keys.”
The hotel will provide guests full and easy access to Smathers Beach. The guest will also have complimentary shuttle service to famous Duval Street and the historic Downtown Seaport Harbor
The spacious guestrooms and suites feature whitewashed accents, rustic reclaimed wood, a warm marine color palette along with various contemporary amenities.
The hotel will offer full-service restaurants serving authentic coastal flavours and local seafood in casual indoor and outdoor settings.
An on-site provision shop, 24-hour fitness centre, poolside entertainment and daily refreshments, kids’ activities, and lawn games will be included in the additional amenities that Barbary Beach House Key West Hotel will offer.
The hotel will also feature Barbary Beach Club with Hobie Cats, paddleboards and kayaks.
As an added feature, this pet-friendly hotel will also coordinate beachfront weddings.
