The Belfry Hotel & Resort in West Midlands, UK, has embarked on an ambitious £80m ($99.89m) expansion and renovation project, set to be completed by Autumn 2025.
The centrepiece of this development is The Masters Suite, a new 852m² event space designed to host up to 920 guests, ideal for large-scale conferences, expos, and weddings.

The Belfry Hotel & Resort director Chris Eigelaar said: “The commencement of work on site is a significant moment for the entire team at The Belfry after years of planning behind the scenes. Work on the new The Masters Suite and the wider refurbishment is moving at quite a pace already, and it’s exciting to see the progress that’s made each day.”
Eigelaar also highlighted the growing demand for luxury event spaces: “We are experiencing increased demand for large events in the luxury venue market from both new and existing customers. The Masters Suite will allow us to accommodate major events that we haven’t been able to cater for before.”
The design of The Masters Suite incorporates the natural beauty of the resort, with soft green tones and gold accents, and expansive windows offering views over the Brabazon golf course.

The space is flexible, with the ability to be divided for different event sizes and includes a pre-function area, mezzanine, outdoor terrace, and an executive boardroom.

A new Leisure Club with a large pool, family-friendly slide, swim lane, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, extensive gym space, four studios, and a multipurpose sports area will offer an enhanced fitness experience.
The redevelopment will also see the refurbishment of bedrooms, the creation of two new outdoor event spaces, and a redesigned bar and lobby.
