Beyond Green has launched its Sustainable Adventures package for tourists across its global portfolio of 24 member hotels in honour of Earth Day on 22 April.

The brand states that each member property is vetted according to 50 sustainability indicators that align with global sustainable tourism standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable Adventures offers tourists activities such as cooking classes, tours and hikes at hotels across 18 countries.

According to a GlobalData Consumer Survey, 19% of respondents typically take eco-holidays, showing that travellers are conscious of their environmental impact.

Beyond Green vice-president of sustainability Nina Boys commented: “As travellers, we have the opportunity and responsibility to ensure that our explorations have a positive impact on the places that we visit and on the planet at large.

“Beyond Green helps conscious travelers select vetted properties that support local nature, culture and community. This is one small action that each of us can take in making travel a force for good.”
