Caribbean’s hotel management group Blue Diamond Resorts has revealed plans to gradually reopen its 17 hotels in the coming months.
The properties are located in the Dominican Republic, Antigua, Jamaica, Grenada, Saint Lucia, Mexico and Costa Rica.
Some of the hotels reopening doors this autumn include Royalton Punta Cana Resort & Spa, Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana, Royalton Blue Waters Resort & Spa, Hideaway at Royalton Saint Lucia, Mystique St. Lucia by Royalton and more.
The 17 hotels are in addition to six properties that reopened a few months ago.
The company’s hotels and resorts are preparing to start serving guests and have implemented extensive health and safety measures.
The hotel management group has partnered with Cristal International Standards to ensure application of health and safety protocols.
Blue Diamond Resorts’ Safety-Assured Vacations programme features Cristal’s Prevention of the Spread of Infection (POSI)-Check audit-programme across its hotels.
In addition, the company has increased staff training, follows a 360˚ Clean Approach of disinfection of all common areas and offers Diamond Clean Guest Rooms to protect its guests and staff.
The protocols are in line with the guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) and other local and national ministries of health.
Furthermore, Blue Diamond Resorts has partnered with MAS Servicios to provide free All-In Medical Assistance to guests who book directly via its websites.
Sunwing Travel Group Hotels and Resort president Jordi Pelfort said: “As we prepare to welcome back our valued guests for an exceptional vacation in paradise, we are committed to providing a safe experience with increased safety protocols and cleaning measures.
“With many travel plans on hold and months of staying at home, we want to ensure that every guest enjoys a well-deserved vacation in paradise and trusts that their well-being is safe in our hands.”
