Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Liberty’s Hotel boasts 67 rooms, a restaurant, and a bar and lounge featuring a stage and dance floor.

The property offers guests sea views and proximity to the town centre and North Pier.

The acquisition follows the company’s purchase of the Claymore Hotel in Arrochar, Scotland.

Caledonian Leisure finance director David McDonald said: “We are thrilled and extremely proud to welcome the hotel to our growing collection.

“We would like to thank Christie & Co once again for helping us to realise this second acquisition of 2023. Blackpool as a resort has always been a favourite with our customers.”

Coast & Country Collection listed the hotel for sale through Christie & Co, a business property adviser.

In June 2023, Christie & Co marketed The Whitewater Hotel and Spa in Backbarrow, near Ulverston, England.

The hotel built in the 19th century was listed for sale at £3.95m ($5.01m).
