The prototype, which was introduced late last year, focuses on building the right sized Cambria for the right market.
This effort aims to reduce the total cost of owning a Cambria Hotel , while delivering the signature amenities offered by the brand.
The latest franchise agreements will promote the brand’s presence in secondary markets and leisure destinations including Tracy in California, Buckeye in Arizona and Palmdale in California.
Other seven locations are – Sacramento in California, Seekonk in Massachusetts, Southaven in Mississippi, West Yarmouth in Massachusetts, Medford in Oregon, Portsmouth in New Hampshire and Sevierville in Tennessee.
Choice Hotels upscale brands development senior vice president Mark Shalala said: “Key to our continued success is working with the right developers in the right markets, which is why we are proud to provide yet another development option for new and existing owners alike to grow their portfolio with the Cambria brand.”
Apart from the latest coast-to-coast expansion, the Cambria Hotels also broke ground on four new properties in a span of ten days.
These include the 90-room Cambria Hotel Spokane, Washington; the six-storey, 90-room Cambria Hotel Burbank, California; the 115-room Cambria Hotel North Conway, New Hampshire; and the 114-room Cambria Hotel Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
According to Cambria, the brand continued its expansion despite increasing interest rates and material costs.
The total number of franchise agreements awarded for the brand in Q1 2022 has grown by over two-fold, in comparison with the year-ago quarter.
Currently, Cambria Hotels has more than 130 properties open or in pipeline across different US cities.
