Hospitality software provider Canary Technologies has formed a partnership with Ulyses PMS by Septeo, a Spanish cloud-based property management system (PMS) provider.

The collaboration will allow hotels using Ulyses PMS to connect with Canary’s AI-driven hospitality platform directly with their PMS.

The companies say the move is intended to support smoother operations, automate recurring tasks and enhance how hotels interact with guests.

Ulyses PMS Business Unit at Septeo director Francisco Ors said: “Hotels require modern, connected and purpose-built technology ecosystems for the hospitality industry.

“Our cloud-based PMS centralises and orchestrates this information, enabling more agile and controlled processes.

“Integration with Canary makes it possible to extend these capabilities to guest interaction, maintaining data consistency and traceability throughout the entire life cycle.”

According to Canary, AI adoption is pushing hotels to select platforms focused on automation, operational efficiency and guest personalisation.

The agreement with Ulyses PMS by Septeo is expected to widen Canary’s footprint among hotel operators in Spain.

Canary Technologies co-founder and president SJ Sawhney said: “Spain’s hoteliers are increasingly looking for technology partners that deliver both operational efficiency and elevated guest experiences.

“This partnership strengthens our ability to support the Spanish hospitality market with a seamless connection between Canary’s AI-powered guest engagement platform and the Ulyses PMS.”

In March this year, Canary launched Hospitality AI Agent Studio to help hotels build and deploy custom AI assistants.
