Situated in Copenhagen’s Ørestad district, the four-star property covers 29,000m².

It features 366 guest rooms alongside dedicated event and meeting spaces.

The site offers transport connections to central Copenhagen and Copenhagen Airport while sitting close to local venues such as the Bella Center, the Royal Arena, and the Field’s retail complex.

Danish hospitality operator Bellagroup currently manages the hotel.

CapMan Real Estate and Bellagroup intend to carry out focused refurbishment works at the property to support its “market position and competitiveness”, a statement said.

According to CapMan, the investment fits the CMNRE IV’s mandate to acquire “high-quality” properties situated in active urban locations and backed by structural growth drivers.

CapMan managing partner Mika Matikainen said: “Hotel Crowne Plaza Copenhagen is a high-quality asset that fits perfectly with the investment strategy of CapMan Nordic Real Estate IV.

“We continue to see attractive opportunities in selected segments of the Nordic real estate market where strong fundamentals, active asset management and long-term trends support value creation.

“Copenhagen’s hotel market offers a compelling combination of resilient demand, international connectivity and limited new supply, making it an attractive market for long-term investment.”
