Business property adviser Christie & Co has been appointed to manage the sale of The Expanse Hotel, a seafront property in East Yorkshire, UK.
Overlooking Bridlington Bay, the hotel features 44 en-suite bedrooms, seven self-catered apartments, and eight additional apartments on shorthold tenancies.
With an asking price of more than £2.75m ($2.83m), the property presents an opportunity for development under new ownership.
The Expanse Hotel has been a family-owned local landmark for generations. Currently closed, the hotel offers potential for redevelopment, featuring public areas, a restaurant, lounge, function spaces, and a rooftop terrace.
Overseeing the sale, Christie & Co regional director David Lee said: “It is an absolute pleasure to be involved in the sale of such an iconic, fantastic building like The Expanse Hotel. The seafront position is unrivalled and the property offers many future uses including possibly reopening as a hotel or a variety of other options.”
In a related development, Christie & Co has also reduced the asking price for The Valley Hotel on the Isle of Anglesey to £795,000 earlier this month.
