Tampa-based hotel brokerage and advisory firm DSH Hotel Advisors has arranged the sale of the 198-room, seven-storey Comfort Suites Maingate East for $22m.

The transaction saw DSH Hotel Advisors represent the seller as well as the buyer.

This deal was arranged by DSH Hotel Advisors managing principal Dennis S. Hopper.

Holding the sole listing with the seller, DSH Hotel Advisors generated 175 signed confidentiality agreements from buyers and secured 16 offers from buyers across the US and international markets.

Hopper said: “The sale of the Comfort Suites Maingate East generated interest from investors all over the country and internationally. The majority of buyers bidding on the property already had numerous hotels in their portfolio and wanted to gain market share in the Disney area.

The divestment of this hotel was arranged by DSH Hotel Advisors after the sale of another Comfort Suites in South Georgia.

Located in Kissimmee, Florida, the Comfort Suites Maingate East is an all-suites hotel built in 2000.

The resort-style hotel underwent a huge renovation between 2016-2020.

Furthermore, the property is situated close to all Disney World attractions and resorts besides many other demand generators.
