Choice Hotels International-franchised upscale brand Cambria Hotels has held a ground-breaking ceremony of its new hotel in Niagara Falls, New York, US.
The event marks the start of the construction on the Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls, which is being developed by Plati Niagara.

Choice Hotels’ representatives, franchisee and developer Plati Niagara, and local dignitaries attended the occasion.
Choice Hotels upscale brands senior vice-president Janis Cannon said: “We’re committed to bringing the Cambria Hotels brand to more of guests’ favourite destinations, and I cannot think of a better place to do so than the breath-taking Niagara Falls.
“Not only will the Cambria Hotel Niagara Falls put guests right at the doorstep of the majestic waterfalls, but its central location near downtown’s shops and restaurants will make this hotel the perfect place to experience this stunning part of the country.”
The new hotel will have 120 guest rooms and will be located at 311 Rainbow Blvd. in downtown Niagara Falls.
It will be situated close to Niagara Falls State Park and Robert Moses Niagara Power Plant and guests can enjoy the Maid of the Mist boat tour or get close to the falls at the Niagara Gorge at the Cave of the Winds.
The property also features indoor and outdoor spaces, immersive, spa-style bathrooms with Bluetooth mirrors, bar and restaurant, multi-function meeting and event spaces and an advanced fitness centre.
In the US, the brand has at least 60 Cambria hotels open in Chicago, Los Angeles, New York, New Orleans, and Phoenix, with more than 70 hotels in the pipeline.
Earlier this month, the brand opened a new property in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, US.
