The Langham Hospitality Group (LHG) has introduced a Cordis Hotels & Resorts property in Airport New City, next to Terminal 5 at Xi’an Xianyang International Airport in China.
The site includes 252 rooms and suites, as well as food and beverage, wellness and event facilities.

Among the main elements are a large pillar-free ballroom drawing on Silk Road-period architecture, a Ming Court restaurant offering Cantonese and Shaanxi dishes, and room interiors based on the three-courtyard arrangement linked to the Tang Dynasty.
The hotel was developed by Xi’an Hao Rui Property in partnership with LHG.
LHG CEO Bob van den Oord said: “Xi’an is entering an exciting new phase of growth, driven by its continued role as a tourist destination and expanding importance as a commercial centre.
“We see strong demand for a hotel capable of serving the broad range of experiences visitors to the city now seek, whether for personal or professional endeavours. Cordis, Xi’an is well positioned to meet that demand, embodying the Cordis ethos of helping guests pursue what matters most to them.”
LHG, a wholly owned unit of Great Eagle Holdings, operates hotels, resorts and residences under brands including the Langham Hotels and Resorts, Cordis Hotels and Resorts, Eaton and Ying’nFlo.
The company has more than 40 properties in operation or under development across Asia, Europe, North America, Australasia and the Middle East.
In April, LHG entered a management agreement with China Xiong’an Group Public Service Management to bring its Cordis Hotels & Resorts and Ying’nFlo brands to Xiong’an New Area in northern China. The dual-branded hotel complex is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2028.
