US-based real estate and entertainment business The Cordish Companies has agreed to acquire Diamond Jacks Casino and Hotel in Bossier City, Louisiana, US.
The company plans to renovate the hotel and transform it into a Live! Casinos and Hotels. The project will also include the construction of a land-based casino, which will replace the current casino riverboat.

Upon completion, this will be the Live! brands’ first property to launch in Louisiana.
The Cordish Companies’ managing partner Joe Weinberg said: “It is incredibly exciting for The Cordish Companies to make this announcement today and work with Foundation Gaming & Entertainment on this new opportunity in Bossier City to bring our Live! brand to Louisiana for the first time.

This project awaits clearance from the Louisiana Gaming Control Board.
The Cordish Companies has developed and managed a portfolio of mixed-use, entertainment and casino resort destinations.
The business has developed several casino entertainment resorts across the US.
