Hospitality technology provider Cvent has integrated its room block management system Cvent Passkey with Maestro’s property management system (PMS).

This integration aims to streamline hotel operations by combining Cvent’s room block management tools with Maestro’s comprehensive suite of solutions.

It is designed to provide hoteliers with real-time room block data, enabling them to make informed inventory and pricing decisions.

It also aims to enhance engagement with event planners and attendees through direct room booking and upgrade options.

The automation of tasks such as room list management is expected to maximise group guest pickup and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).

Cvent Passkey’s security features ensure that all shared information is managed in a secure environment.

The self-serve planner portal offered by the Maestro PMS and Cvent interface allows event planners to manage their rooming lists autonomously and drive pickup effectively.

Attendees also stand to gain from the integration, with the ability to directly access room upgrades and additional amenities, personalising their stay experience.

The move is claimed to have ‘attracted’ key US hotels and resorts, with initial positive feedback on the group booking process, data security, hotel revenue, and the overall event management experience.

Cvent sales vice president Janine Alsalam said: “This integration illustrates our continued dedication to supporting hoteliers, event organisers and attendees by broadening our platform functionality and leveraging the systems they are already familiar with.

“We’ve spent decades supporting the entire meetings and events ecosystem with our technology, so we understand the critical value of creating exceptional guest experiences while driving results.

“By combining Cvent Passkey’s offerings with Maestro’s robust PMS, hoteliers benefit from deeper group insights, while elevating the planner and attendee experience with the direct booking options they need to personalise their stay.”

In December 2023, Hotel Mogel Consulting selected Maestro PMS for external assessment of hotel operations.
