Cygnett Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of its newest property in Amritsar, a city in the Indian state of Punjab.

Dubbed as ‘Cozzet Stay Amritsar’, the new hotel is the company’s first property in the state.

Located around 400m from the Golden Temple in Amritsar, Cozzet Stay is designed to meet the needs of business and leisure travellers.

The hotel features 40 rooms and suites under categories that include Superior Room, Club Room and Suites.

All rooms offer amenities such as Wi-Fi, TVs, tea/coffee maker and more, according to the company.

Additionally, the hotel has a multi-cuisine restaurant ‘Gossip’ that serves regional and north Indian cuisine.

Cygnett Hotels & Resorts has 35 hotels in its portfolio with 20 operational in 33 locations, across two countries.

The company aims to operate more than 50 hotels in the next two years.

In September last year, Cygnett Hotels launched Cygnett Style Mantra in Jodhpur, Rajasthan India.
