Danieli, Venezia, A Four Seasons Hotel, has resumed operations in Venice, Italy, and is now receiving guests.
The project includes Palazzo Dandolo, originally constructed in 1471 as the residence of the Dandolo noble family.

It is joined by two adjacent historic structures – Palazzo Casa Nuova, which previously housed the Treasury of the Venetian Republic, and Palazzo Danieli Excelsior – together forming the full hotel complex.
According to Four Seasons, Palazzo Dandolo and Casa Nuova were renovated by interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon to combine “historic heritage with a contemporary vision”.
Situated on the Riva degli Schiavoni, the property has reopened with 120 guest rooms and suites.
The total key count is expected to rise to 168 after refurbishment work on Palazzo Danieli Excelsior is finalised in 2027.
The next phase of Danieli’s refurbishment is scheduled for late 2026. This will include the launch of Danieli Spa, which is expected to feature three treatment rooms – one dedicated to couples – along with a sauna and hammam.
The hotel’s Terrazza Danieli restaurant, which overlooks the lagoon, has been redesigned and now features updated culinary offerings.
In this refreshed setting, executive chef Adriano Rausa serves Italian dishes with a Venetian influence, with several signature plates completed at the table.
Alongside the food, the bar features a curated list of classic cocktails.
Additionally, the hotel’s rooftop offers views of San Giorgio Maggiore island.

The Venice property becomes part of Four Seasons’ portfolio in Italy, which also includes Four Seasons Hotel Milano, Four Seasons Hotel Firenze and San Domenico Palace, Taormina, A Four Seasons Hotel.
In May, Four Seasons Hotel Tokyo at Marunouchi, Japan, resumed operations following an overhaul of its interiors and guest services.
