Deutsche Hospitality, in partnership with its shareholder Huazhu, has launched a new IntercityHotel in the capital city of Henan Province, China.
The hotel opening is in line with the group’s strategy to expand the brand’s presence in Chinese metropolises.
Set in Zhengdong New District business area, the property is just a ten-minute walk from the fourth largest train station in the area, the Zhengzhou East Railway Station.
IntercityHotel Zhengzhou East Railway Station features 260 rooms, a multifunctional 200m2 conference area, a restaurant and a 24-hour fitness centre.
Deutsche Hospitality CEO Marcus Bernhardt said: “Thanks to its simplicity, high technical affinity and clear, modern design, IntercityHotel is ideally suited for the Asian market. In China in particular, the hotels appeal to both business and leisure travellers.
“We are very pleased that our shareholder Huazhu is consistently expanding the brand in the metropolises of China.”
