In the past year, the brand has welcomed more than 40 new properties, including first-time entries in Nice, Laos, the Azores Islands, and Malta.
DoubleTree by Hilton’s international presence has surged since 2008, reflecting a tenfold increase after venturing outside the Americas.
Its growth is set to continue, with a pipeline featuring over 240 hotels in development. This includes nine upcoming debuts in new countries and territories.
DoubleTree by Hilton’s expansion is particularly notable in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region, where it operates more than 150 hotels.
The anticipated DoubleTree by Hilton Mangroovy El Gouna Resort will be the brand’s second resort in Egypt, providing a private beachside retreat.

In Q1 2025, conversions represented around 40% of Hilton’s nearly 200 new openings, with DoubleTree and the new Spark by Hilton brand driving this trend.

The brand has recently announced a novel restaurant and bar concept by Hilton’s StiR Creative Collective, set to roll out in the US.
