
Thailand-based hotel and property development company Dusit International has expanded its China footprint by signing a hotel management agreement to operate the new Dusit Hotel AG Park, Chengdu.
The agreement, signed with Dongfang Nongbo (Chengdu) Commercial Operation Management Company, marks an addition to the company’s portfolio that already includes nearly 300 properties across 18 countries.
Dusit International chief operating officer Gilles Cretallaz said: “With its rich culinary heritage, deep cultural traditions, and world-famous attractions, Chengdu is a destination like no other, and we are thrilled to introduce Dusit’s signature gracious hospitality to this remarkable city.
“This signing underscores our commitment to thoughtful expansion in China, and we are excited to create a unique retreat where guests can immerse themselves in Chengdu’s vibrant energy while enjoying the exceptional service and experiences that define Dusit.”
The 250-key property, which is scheduled to open on 1 June 2025, is situated within the Tianfu Agricultural Expo Park.
The park is a hub for high-tech agriculture, sustainable farming, and cultural tourism, and is situated 30 minutes from Chengdu city centre and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and 20 minutes from Xinjin high-speed rail station.

By GlobalDataThe park’s design embraces green development principles and incorporates farming culture, agricultural exhibitions, technology development, scientific research, and leisure tourism.
Guests will have the option to stay in private villas or guest rooms surrounded by gardens, and the property will feature premium facilities including various dining options, an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a kids’ club, mahjong rooms, and a versatile conference hall with meeting rooms.
Dusit Hotel AG Park, Chengdu will offer guests an experience with Dusit’s signature Thai-inspired hospitality. The resort aims to provide dining experiences that highlight Chengdu’s recognition as a UNESCO City of Gastronomy.

Dusit International operates seven hotels in China and has over 20 properties in development.
This latest agreement follows the company’s decision to manage the upcoming Dusit Greenhills Manila hotel in San Juan City, Metro Manila, the Philippines.
