
Thailand-based hotel and property development company Dusit Hotels and Resorts has signed a hotel management agreement with Shravanthi Hotels and Resorts, a developer of luxury hotels and resorts in India.
This collaboration will see the establishment of Devarana Sakleshpur, Karnataka – A Dusit Retreat, which is set to open in March 2028.
The upcoming Devarana Sakleshpur retreat will feature 75 luxurious villas and suites, with sizes ranging from 47m² to 90m². Among them, 25 units will also include private plunge pools.
This project marks the first Devarana – Dusit Retreat signed outside of China. It is designed to cater to discerning domestic and international travellers.
Dusit International chief operating officer Gilles Cretallaz said: “We are delighted to bring our unique brand of Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to Sakleshpur, where we see a perfect alignment between the area’s serene natural beauty and the holistic essence of Devarana – Dusit Retreats.

Guests can look forward to wellness facilities, including a dedicated Devarana Wellness Centre equipped with a movement studio, gym, and herbal steam room.
A wellness consultation service and personalised programmes will be available to cater to guests’ needs.
Additional amenities at Devarana Sakleshpur will include an expansive infinity pool, a restaurant offering authentic South Indian cuisine, and an all-day dining venue.

Additionally, Dusit Hotels and Resorts is set to officially re-enter India next month with the soft opening of dusitD2 Fagu in the Himalayan foothills near Shimla.
Four more Dusit-branded hotels are planned for Karnataka, expected to open in mid-2026.
