Thailand’s Dusit International has entered a hotel management agreement with hospitality development company Atmosphere to launch its Dusit Princess brand in the Tehri Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, India.
The new Dusit Princess Rishikesh is scheduled to open in 2031 and will be located near Rishikesh in the Himalayan foothills.

Designed as an upscale mixed-use project, it will include 300 keys comprising hotel rooms and luxury duplex villas.
The site aims to appeal to both leisure and business travellers, offering facilities such as an all-day dining restaurant, business centre, gym, multi-purpose event spaces, and yoga room.
Additional amenities are planned for the property, including a clubhouse that will feature wellness and recreational facilities.
The company’s expansion into Uttarakhand follows the opening of dusitD2 Fagu, Shimla, in December 2024, and forms part of Dusit International’s broader growth strategy in India.

Dusit International is primarily involved in hotel and property development.
