The 150-room hotel under BF Saul Company Hospitality Group offers access to the international airport, Tysons, and Reston Town Center, according to a statement.
The location also provides access to regional technology employers, public-sector agencies, and broader corporate and tourism destinations across the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
The property will retain its affiliation with the Embassy Suites by Hilton brand, keeping the brand’s standard accommodation layouts, facilities, and operating benchmarks in place.
Work on the refurbishment project is scheduled to commence in 2027.
The scope of the refurbishment project at the site will include updates to guest suites, communal and public areas, conference and event facilities, and general on-site amenities.
The planned upgrades are intended to modernise the hotel environment for guests while retaining the operational features and services utilised by visitors travelling to the greater capital district.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport general manager Nick Shrestha said: “We are excited about the future of Embassy Suites by Hilton Dulles Airport and the opportunities ahead for our guests, team members, and community.
“The planned improvements will build upon the hotel’s longstanding reputation for hospitality while creating enhanced experience for travelers visiting the Dulles Airport area and Northern Virginia.”
BF Saul Company Hospitality Group said that the hotel team will ensure “seamless operations” throughout the renovation planning process.
