Fortune Hotels, a member of ITC’s hotel chain, has opened its new hotel, Fortune Park Hoshiarpur, in the Indian state of Punjab, according to ET Hospitality.

Located in Hoshiarpur city on National Highway 70, the hotel features 57 rooms intended for both business and leisure travellers.

Fortune Hotels managing director Samir MC said: “We are constantly looking to expand our footprint into potential tier 2 and tier 3 locations across India, for we aim to be where the guest is. Hoshiarpur is special to us as we are the first branded hotel in this colourful and culturally rich town of Punjab.

“Well connected with key cities like Chandigarh, Jalandhar and Ludhiana, it attracts all kinds of travellers from India and abroad. This is our third hotel opening in Punjab in the last three months.

“Prior to this, we launched two beautiful hotels in Amritsar – Fortune Inn Heritage Walk and Fortune Ranjit Vihar. In addition to these, we also have another property in Jalandhar.”

It can host a wide range of events at its multiple banquet halls, including a 12,000ft² ballroom and a 1,20,000ft² garden.
