Architectural planning is being executed by Arjitec, whilst interior appointments are directed by Goddard Littlefair.
The resort will contain 99 accommodation units, divided among rooms, suites, and 27 detached villas.
Royal Resort Cap Malabata CEO Abdulwahed Al Kooheji said: “Tangier’s strategic location, rich cultural heritage, and exceptional waterfront setting make it an ideal destination for this landmark project.
“Together with Four Seasons, we look forward to creating a world-class resort that will further enhance the city’s luxury hospitality offerings and build upon its continued growth as a leading destination in the region.”
Facilities at the complex will include waterside and pool seating, four food and beverage establishments serving domestic and international dishes.
Furthermore, it also features an exercise facility, a spa, and the operator’s “Kids For All Seasons” programme.
Four Seasons development group head Ricardo Suarez commented: “As our fourth property in Morocco, Four Seasons Resort Tangier expands our collection in one of the region’s most compelling destinations.”
The Tangier asset will increase the operator’s presence in Morocco to four locations, joining existing operations at Four Seasons Hotel Casablanca, Four Seasons Resort Marrakech, and Four Seasons Hotel Rabat at Kasr Al Bahr.
Established in 1961, Four Seasons oversees 140 lodging properties and 61 residential developments across 47 territories, alongside a pipeline of 60 schemes undergoing design or active construction.
