Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet in Turkey has opened its doors for guests this summer, following an extensive hotelwide transformation programme.
Located in the Old Town of Istanbul, the hotel is surrounded by the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque and Marmara Sea.
Design studio Goddard Littlefair has designed the interiors of the refurbished hotel.
Goddard Littlefair co-founder and director Martin Goddard said: “Our designers researched styling, pattern and details from antiques, fabrics and architecture and distilled these influences through a contemporary filter to create designs that feel completely in tune with the building and setting.”
The renovation programme involved refurbishment of all the 65 guestrooms in the hotel.
After undergoing the extensive renovation, the hotel now features a newly landscaped terrace, designed to create zones for dining and lounging.
It also includes retail shops in the lobby area, showcasing Istanbul’s culture and heritage as well as a new courtyard.
In the courtyard, the hotel features a new AVLU Restaurant, offering Anatolian cuisine by hotel’s culinary team, led by Turkish Executive Chef Özgür Üstün.
Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet also has a rooftop bar, called Süreyya, and a new bar, Lingo Lingo.
Adjacent to the Lingo Lingo bar is an elevated private dining space, serving seafood mezze in a light and bright space which is suitable for hosting private functions.
Other amenities include a bijou luxury spa, Turkish barber, beauty salon and a gymnasium.
Besides, the property has a fully refurbished space, with a ballroom, at ground level for organising different events such as wedding, corporate retreats and social gatherings.
Earlier this month, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts completed a two-and-a-half-year long, multimillion-dollar renovation of its Four Seasons Hotels San Francisco At Embarcadero in California, US.
