Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at Sultanahmet in Turkey has opened its doors for guests this summer, following an extensive hotelwide transformation programme.

Located in the Old Town of Istanbul, the hotel is surrounded by the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia Mosque and Marmara Sea.

Design studio Goddard Littlefair has designed the interiors of the refurbished hotel.

Goddard Littlefair co-founder and director Martin Goddard said: “Our designers researched styling, pattern and details from antiques, fabrics and architecture and distilled these influences through a contemporary filter to create designs that feel completely in tune with the building and setting.”

The renovation programme involved refurbishment of all the 65 guestrooms in the hotel.

After undergoing the extensive renovation, the hotel now features a newly landscaped terrace, designed to create zones for dining and lounging.
