Gaylord National Resort has announced the reopening of Old Hickory Steakhouse in National Harbor, US on 10 May 2023.

The steakhouse, which is the third dining experience scheduled to open for guests at the resort, will offer a timeless fine-dining experience with locally sourced ingredients to create exquisite meals, the resort disclosed in a press statement.

Gaylord National’s current reopening is part of a $14m restaurant transformation, following a $64m guestroom renovation.

Old Hickory Steakhouse spans over 10,000ft² and the space is divided into four unique areas: the Old Hickory Bar, The Den, The Main Dining Room and The Terrace Room. These four areas are decorated with hues of forest green, deep-sea blue, sandy beach, copper and gold.

The steakhouse’s strategic location by the outside wall features large windows that provide a spectacular view of the Garden Atrium.

Guests dining at Old Hickory Steakhouse can enjoy the resort’s light and fountain shows throughout the year while indulging in a fine dining experience, the statement added.

The restaurant will debut two new experiences prepared tableside for guests – the Maryland Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail and an exquisitely crafted Old Fashioned cocktail.

The restaurant menu will feature fresh local seafood, premium meats, Maryland jumbo lump crab eggs Benedict, pancake boards, fresh artisan cheeses and fruits, along with Bloody Marys, bottomless mimosas and Old Hickory Smoothies.
