Hospitality company Hilton and US food delivery marketplace GrubHub have expanded their partnership to bring on-demand food, grocery, and convenience item delivery across multiple Hilton brands.

The collaboration aims to enhance guest convenience at more than 2,600 Hilton locations by integrating Grubhub’s merchant marketplace.

Grubhub Onsite vice-president and general manager Rob DelaCruz said: “Expanding our partnership with Hilton is a testament to our successful alliance and the strong demand for our service among guests seeking convenient, affordable delivery.

“Whether it’s comfort food from a local restaurant, groceries to complete a meal, or forgotten toiletries, we’re devoted to supporting Hilton’s guests while they’re away from home.”

This partnership extension follows the launch of Grubhub Onsite at Homewood Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton earlier in 2023.

From the inception of the programme, orders delivered to Hilton hotels have seen an increase. The range of items ordered includes meals, personal care products, and other essentials.

The expanded service will now be available at Hampton by Hilton, Tru by Hilton, and Spark by Hilton brands.

Guests staying at these hotels can access Grubhub’s marketplace by scanning a QR code, simplifying the process of ordering what they need.

In addition to the convenience, guests will also receive one free month of Grubhub+ membership, offering benefits such as no delivery fees, reduced service fees, and cashback on pickup orders.

Hilton All Suites and Focused Service Brands senior vice president and global category head Bill Duncan said: “At Hilton, our goal is to make every stay as comfortable and convenient as possible.

“The expansion of our Grubhub Onsite partnership to include Hampton, Tru, and Spark enhances the amenities offered at our beloved hotels, offering even more value to our guests and ensuring they have easy access to the items they want during their stay.”

The Grubhub-Hilton partnership is not only a response to the doubling of orders to Hilton properties but also a strategic move to complement Hilton’s existing services.

By providing additional flexibility, this collaboration continues Hilton’s commitment to prioritising the guest experience.
