Alshaya Group, in partnership with Hilton, has announced the launch of the first Hampton by Hilton in Kuwait.
The new hotel, Hampton by Hilton Kuwait Salmiya, is situated in the vibrant Salmiya district, at the heart of Kuwait.
Alshaya Group CEO John Hadden said: “The opening of our first Hampton by Hilton marks a milestone in diversifying our hospitality offerings to customers in Kuwait. Over the years, the region has experienced a surge in demand for high-quality hotels, and we’re thrilled to bring the Hampton by Hilton brand here. By leveraging our combined expertise, we’re confident we can deliver an exceptional guest experience that meets the immediate needs of our visitors.”
This addition to Kuwait’s hospitality sector features 110 modern bedrooms.
The hotel is conveniently located on the Kuwait waterfront and Blajat Beach, enabling guests to explore the city.
It is just a 15-minute drive from The Avenues, the largest shopping mall in Kuwait, and the Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre.
Hampton by Hilton Kuwait Salmiya features automated car park facility, claimed to be a first in the region, with a capacity for 40 cars.
Hilton vice president for Focused Service Operations for Europe, Middle East and Africa Pauline Wilson said, “I am delighted to be in Kuwait to celebrate Hampton by Hilton Kuwait Salmiya’s opening alongside Alshaya Group. The opening marks the debut of Hampton by Hilton in the country and brings the brand’s signature features – such as free hot breakfast and exceptionally friendly and authentic service – to Kuwait for the first time.”
As part of the Hilton Honors programme, the hotel offers loyalty benefits to its members.
These include a flexible payment slider, exclusive discounts, free standard Wi-Fi, and digital tools through the Hilton Honors mobile app, such as check-in, room selection, and Digital Key access.
Looking forward, Alshaya Group has plans to further enhance its hospitality portfolio in the region.
This includes the anticipated opening of another Hampton by Hilton in Hafr Al Batin, Saudi Arabia, slated for 2026.
