HHM Hotels has partnered with Wurzak Hotel Group (WHG) in a move that brings the latter’s managed portfolio under the HHM platform.
The collaboration adds a group of premium-branded and lifestyle properties to HHM Hotels’ operations and increases the size of its managed estate.

The change is intended to provide scale-related advantages for owners and broader roles for associates across both businesses.
The two hospitality groups have longstanding links to the Greater Philadelphia and South Florida markets.
Wurzak Hotel Group co-CEO Jake Wurzak said: “My family and I have known HHM for more than 30 years, so this felt entirely natural.
“Our hotels and our teams gain immediate access to industry-leading infrastructure, technology, and support, and our team members gain real paths for advancement within a much larger network. What HHM is building is one of a kind, and we are grateful to be a part of it.”
Hotels moving into the HHM Hotels managed portfolio include The Dalmar in Fort Lauderdale and the Moxy St Petersburg Downtown, Florida; and the Hilton Philadelphia City Avenue in Philadelphia.
The ownership of the hotels is not changing, with the transaction affecting only management arrangements.
The combination joins two founder-led businesses that the companies said share an owner-operator approach, a similar entrepreneurial outlook, and a relationship stretching back more than 30 years.
The addition of WHG’s managed portfolio extends HHM Hotels’ expansion across the US and Canada through management partnerships.
HHM Hotels president and CEO Naveen Kakarla said: “We are excited to welcome these outstanding properties and their operational, commercial, and finance leadership into HHM Hotels.
“We have known and done business with the Wurzak family for decades and look forward to keeping our focus on ownership results while ensuring we unlock career growth opportunities for our team members.”
