Multinational hospitality brand Hilton has entered an exclusive alliance with outdoor hospitality services provider AutoCamp to offer its guests an opportunity to camp outdoors.

With this collaboration, the hospitality group’s guests can now book outdoor camping directly through Hilton’s channels.

Members can experience camping at various US sites in California, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina and Utah as of this summer, and Hill Country, Texas, next year.

Hilton Honors members can earn and redeem points at AutoCamp’s accommodations, including custom-designed luxury tents and spacious cabins.

Hilton global brands and commercial services president Chris Silcock said: “We know today’s travellers are craving adventures when planning their next trip, and that is why we look for innovative and like-minded partners like AutoCamp.

“This is the first time a major hospitality brand and outdoor lodging company have come together in this way to create even more choices for travellers while redefining the outdoor hospitality experience.”

The company said in its recent report that almost half of travellers are expected to focus on exploration and adventure this year. It further noted that Gen Z and Millennials are particularly keen on allocating more budget towards such experiences.

AutoCamp offers custom accommodations for an outdoor experience.

Central to each AutoCamp location is the Clubhouse, a social hub providing food, beverage and retail options.

The properties also feature various outdoor amenities including fire pits, trails and swimming pools at select locations.

Earlier this month, Hilton reached an exclusive partnership with Small Luxury Hotels of the World.

As part of the partnership, hundreds of luxury hotels will be integrated with Hilton’s brands, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts and LXR Hotels & Resorts.
