Hilton has launched Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit, introducing the Canopy Hotels brand to Southeast Asia for the first time.

Located in Bangkok’s Asoke area, the 174-room hotel includes public spaces designed by AvroKO, as well as four food and drink venues.

For group and family stays, the hotel includes nine pairs of interconnecting rooms arranged through a shared entrance area, and seven pairs of connecting rooms linked by an internal door.

Other facilities include a rooftop swimming pool and a 24-hour fitness centre.

The hotel has collaborated with Bangkok-based lifestyle brand LalaLove. This covers opening merchandise and a retail display within the property.

Guests can take part in Bangkok experiences organised by the hotel’s city curator.

To mark the opening, Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit is introducing “Asoke Unlocked”, a pre-opening offer for the first 100 guests.

Hilton Southeast Asia vice-president and regional head Alexandra Murray said: “Bangkok has long been one of South East Asia’s most compelling cities, and the opening of Canopy Bangkok Sukhumvit adds a new dimension to Hilton’s growing lifestyle portfolio in the region.

“With its thoughtful design, distinctive dining and city-curated experiences, the hotel introduces a new way for travellers to experience Bangkok—combining the comfort and ease of feeling at home with the inspiration of being somewhere new, delivered with Hilton’s signature hospitality.”

In April 2025, Hilton announced the development of the third Canopy brand hotel in Japan, in collaboration with Mitsubishi Estate and TBS Holdings.

The Canopy by Hilton Tokyo Akasaka hotel will welcome guests in 2028.
