The property will offer 429 guest rooms and suites spread across two adjacent towers.

The complex includes a 20-storey main tower and a six-storey secondary tower, each with its own rooftop pool.

The resort will also feature 10,000ft² of meeting space, including a 7,600ft² ballroom, as well as a fitness centre and spa.

Guests will also have access to three outdoor pools and an all-inclusive dining offering. The programme will include nine bars, nine restaurants and a coffee shop.

Ahead of joining Curio Collection by Hilton, the property is expected to undergo brand integration updates.

This will include updates to selected public areas and enhancements to food and beverage concepts.

The relaunch is scheduled for 31 October 2026, and reservations via Hilton channels are expected to open “this summer”.

Fuerte Group Hotels CEO Javier Luque said: “Partnering with Hilton marks an exciting new chapter for us.

“With Amàre Cancun, we are introducing a distinctive adults-only all-inclusive experience to the destination, blending Mexico’s vibrant spirit with the sophisticated design, exceptional gastronomy and wellness experiences inspired by the Mediterranean lifestyle.”

The planned opening contributes to Hilton’s ongoing expansion in the Caribbean and Latin America.

For Curio Collection by Hilton, Amàre Cancun will add to the brand’s presence in the region, where 25 properties are currently open.

Hilton Caribbean and Latin America development, architecture, design and construction vice-president Pablo Maturana said: “This signing reflects the strength of Hilton’s growth strategy in Mexico and our focus on expanding in high-demand resort destinations across the region.

“With Amàre Cancun, we are adding a distinctive adults-only all-inclusive resort to our portfolio while marking the start of our relationship with Fuerte Group, a valued owner with a strong vision for the destination.”

Earlier this month, Hilton signed a deal to bring a new Hilton Hotels & Resorts property to Thessaloniki, Greece.
